The term "women empowerment" itself suggest that empowering women means, empowering culture, empowering society, empowering social and economic condition of India, after all empowering the nation. Now the question arises, how we can empower women? What is the need to empower women? The answer off all these questions is now important.

Since the earlier time, the women (sex) gender consider as an inferior one. History tells us that from (centuries) ancient times women only act as wives, gave birth to children and take care of her only husband and family of her husband.
Now the time comes to improve the condition of women from such religion and caste-based activities and from male-dominated society or from a patriarchal society.

With women, empowerment improves country economic & political condition

If the condition of women will improve,
then it would have a greater impact on the economic condition of our nation. As the more women will engage in activities other than household works like teachers, doctors & nurses, IT sector, private business, etc. The involvement of women in these sectors would provide robust growth to our GDP and economic condition of our country increase with greater pace.

Nowadays, we see more women are taking interest in politics, as in village or panchayat level the government has given 33% reservation of seat to women to elect in panchayat election.
Women are also active in the work of ASHA & ANM, provide information regarding pregnancy to rural women and take care of pregnant women during their pregnancy and vaccination until the birth of the baby.

Encouraging   Entrepreneurship

The government started many initiatives to improve the condition of women by encouraging them to open their small enterprise, shops and mini-industry, by providing them money without collateral security, under different schemes under the central government of India like MUDRA YOJANA, PRADHAN MANTRI KAUSHAL VIKASH YOJANA, etc. Entrepreneurship not only helps single women but many other peoples engaged in different activities under the same enterprise.

Conclusion

After all, if women of any country would get a safe environment to work outside as like men, then the economic, political and social condition of that country would increase at a faster pace. As there is a wrong perception in the mind of the people of India that India is a male-dominated society, it would take time to remove such a phrase from the mind of people.
It is our priority to respect women, educate them, motivate them and help them to stand alone. This should be the duty of not only the government but of every citizen of the country.
