STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
The sentence "violence against women" is very familiar and common that we read and see these words daily either in the newspaper or on television or on advertisements banners or through any other sources. We are actually now become very social with words and its deeds become part of our life which occur on daily bases, but the impact and effect it leaves on the lives of those who suffered and become the victim or the family which faces such violence or the women and the girl are really the strong women of the universe.
The emotional, mental, physical and sexual violence and trauma the women faced or facing in their lives starting from their own house members, peer groups, relatives and society making them weak and untrustworthy towards everyone. Since we have seen that in more than 90% cases of rapes and violence, the perpetrator or intimidator are the known person either they are the relative's friends or colleague.
Most pressing thing is that the violence the female child face in their lives, starting from their home, whether it is in the form of food, clothing and education. Right from their birth, they were taught to cultivate the values like compassion, emotion, caring and bowing towards everyone and these traits led them at the verge of exploitation that they are facing in recent times. Since everyone knew that without their cooperation and collaboration the human race could not survive and providing them with a safe working environment in society would help India to achieve economic excellence.
This article is about how could we help the women and what are the ways through which they could be escaped from the violence they face in their daily life?
The school could play a very positive and constructive role by teaching right knowledge and essential sexual education from the beginning not only female students but to every student of the academy so they can understand the basic knowledge of what is s good touch and what is bad touch, also about their private parts.
School should join or invite the NGOs, those are working for the safeguard of women right and their emancipation, these peoples are actually well experienced in their fields and they can teach new technique and strategy that would help the child to understand the circumstances of life and learn to tackle the violence.
Parents also have to be very active regarding their child day to day activities, their behaviour if parents find anything unusual in their child, they should talk and consult to their child about the problem, don't ignore them otherwise one day it could become a very violent form of abuse and beyond the tackling capacity of parents.
The awareness which police has to develop and imbibe in themselves in their way of working towards women who suffered violence is very important, cooperate with the victim, lodge FIR do basic enquiry and need not work under influential or under perpetrator or accused.
Since we know police try to settle the matter under pressure from a politician as well as powerful person, those use their power, position, prestige and money to create false evidence and depriving poor people of justice which is guaranteed by the constitution to every citizen of India. Trained policewomen should be deployed to tackle the cases related to violence and rapes against women.
For any movement, initiative or program to become successful, it needs mass mobilization, public support and their cooperation. In this case, too, the participation of common people and their support are very important, creating awareness regarding the heinous, brutal and inhuman violence that the women's are facing in the era of 21st century is against the very spirit of nature and environment. If the women continuously being exploited then one day will come when there will be no faith, no trust and the human race would become extinct one because of their own unnatural acts.
"Justice delayed means justice denied" for the cases of violence against women justice must be given time so that people should keep the faith and maintain trust in the Constitution of India for this purpose judges who were dealing with these sensitive cases also need to be very efficient, expert and trained so they can deal in fair, just and reasonable manner.
Since we know that the environment only absorbs pollution up to their cleaning capacity and if we keep polluting the environment beyond the extent of their cleaning capacity, then the consequence would be very disastrous.
One more serious point, with changing time the needs of peoples also changes, now its time to change our conservative thoughts regarding women i.e; they would only get respect as wives and mothers.
Now we have to look at the changing world, how women are playing a leading role in every field whether its industrial, business, politics, film making, actress, doctors, etc., they are contributing in every sector from agriculture to service.
Let them contribute and help them to make this world more compassionate, peaceful and harmonious.
