Authoritarian Regime, Challenging Democratic World

People's Liberation Army (PLA) recent aggression and attempt to occupy Indian territory over Ladakh, Galwan Valley and Pangong Tso Lake indicating China's authoritarian intent and its rising hegemonic status not only in south-east Asia but to the but in the entire world.

The timing at which China is asserting and proclaiming its influence is of considerable importance. The manner China hold the information pertaining to coronavirus is makes China untrustworthy, dishonest, double-dealing and deceitful.

It's Chinese policy, they never pursued a transparent policy which reflects in the saying of Mao Zedong that is "hide your strength and bide your time", hiding information which possesses the capacity to cause grave danger to humanity is not right policy and should be abandoned as soon as possible.


This strategy hits very hard to the entire world now grappling with a deadly coronavirus. Chinese tactics to pretend that while having immense pressure facing across the world especially by US President Donald Trump, by indulging with border disputes to India it asserts the world that China is only hegemonic power in Asia.


If China could have shared the information earlier to the world's best countries such as US, UK Canada, Japan, Australia, etc,.having best scientist, doctors and capabilities to treat the virus, the situation today we are witnessing could have something else.


The immaturity WHO has shown while tackling this crisis is also raising concerns regarding WHO's capability of dealing with the damaging problem, blemishing and crippling human lives such a large scale.

The delay of the Chinese authoritarian regime to reveal and share information to the WHO also acted as 'add fuel to fire' China with its policy of hiding and thumping information made human lives precarious to what future they will face.

 It collapsed, crumbled and scrunch the lives of immigrants and migrants, workers and students forced them either to choose coronavirus death or accept death by hunger virus. In both cases, they have only one common option that is death. Whether China will hold the accountability of the deadly Chinses virus humanity facing and suffering. Is a new question?

Even after having wide criticism, condemnation and denunciation across the world by major powers such as US, Britain, Australia, etc also by several minor countries they are still pressurizing, forcing and bullying their neighbours to pretend that after having tremendous pressure on us across the world even then we could tackle Southeast Asia problems and influence countries such as India by unilaterally altering the status quo over border areas.

The way Chinese troops altered the status quo at the border between India and China indicate a new age of Chinese territorial aggression and militancy against India. Although there are around 300 plus aggression witnessed every year over border areas.

But the recent spate of territorial transgression and trespass by the Peoples Liberation Army(PLA) is unprecedented in its scope and manner. The Chinses troops set foot in 15 km inside Indian territory which clearly visualises/ depicted the intent of the Chineses authoritarian regime that it wanted to pressurize India to not to support western powers against China at any global forum and so forth.

The new legislation which China proposed in Hong kong likely to come into force before September will tackle secession, subversion, terrorism and foreign interference in Hong Kong would stop after the legislation would finally come into force.

When Australia defied China and call for an investigation into the origins of coronavirus. The Bejing retaliated of threatening distortion of bilateral relation beyond preparing point. The Chinese stand of aggressiveness, pugnacious and confrontational towards every independent countries voice is challenging to the democratic world and freedom expression and freedom of criticizing culprit, perpetrator and offender.

The US expectation that China would rise peacefully now at the brink of extinction, no planned or having an alternate plan to contain China is becoming bone of contention between the democratic world and authoritarian regime. China's strategy of threatening, forcing and pressurising is known as the challenging democratic world which needs to be tackled as soon as possible otherwise it would not let people live peacefully and harmoniously.

The increasing number of coronavirus cases in the US given China chance to spoke against the US that the US has failed to handle coronavirus the way China handled and shows to the world that the authoritarian regime possesses the competence and potential to handle the pandemic more effectively and efficiently than every democratic country of the world.

The recent death of George Floyd an African American gave another chance of countering China to the US treating racial ethnic people in the US. Over Donald Trump Honk Kong remarks of China curtailing the autonomous position of Honk Kong which Britain had promised to the people of Honk and retrenchment of freedom of expression of people of Honk Kong and freedom of protest.

Across the globe, a backlash is building against China for its initial mishandling of the crisis and created a deeply polarized battle of narrative across the world.

The neutrality of Arab countries indicating that they all are in the same line build by China, investment in various Arab countries bestow respite and succour to China.

The neutrality of Russia, neither hold accountable China of mishandling of coronavirus pandemic and delay of revealing information to the world, signalling that the World now divides between democratic and authoritarian regime.

 It's a very sensitive phase through which the world is passing, require the tactful synergy of every democratic country to not let the authoritarian regime dictate to the democratic world and curtail, retrench and diminish our right to freedom of expression, protest and peaceful existence on the planet. To achieve this objective every democratic country have to come together to build this world once more peaceful, prosperous and stable by making authoritarian regime to end.
